And ... Gavin has his moments where he is ... not unlike Rory. Downside, it would seem registering his defiance of gravity works very much against him. The critters are amused by this. If he'd felt defeated before, this is just insult to injury. He's given up and thus is no longer of much interest to the Wise Man, who would love to get his hands on Rory- for some reason.
